Christa Casey, CPA, CA - NPO Sector Leader, Partner

With 20 years of experience, Christa Casey has become an expert in auditing not-for-profit organizations. Christa joined Welch LLP in 1995 as a co-op student and began full-time in 1997, after completing her Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Ottawa. She obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 1999. Christa is fluently bilingual and works with clients and staff members in the language of their choice.

Garth Steele, CPA, CA, Partner

Garth is Welch’s in-house expert for GST, HST, Payroll taxes, and other Provincial Sales Taxes and helps clients understand the implications related to harmonization of the Federal and Provincial sales tax regimes. Outside of Welch, Garth gives lectures and leads tutorials with CPA Ontario and CPA Canada. Garth also provides traditional auditing services to non-profits and owner-managed businesses, and has over 25 years experience in these sectors.
